About the final exam
There are no prerequisites. You can register for the IT Risk Fundamentals exam at any time. The online, remotely proctored 2-hour exam blends both knowledge (multiple choice) and performance-based questions set in a virtual lab environment.
To pass the exam, you must earn a score of 65% or higher.

By successfully passing this exam, candidates prove their knowledge of IT risk terminology, concepts, general practices and explanations of risk and I&T related risk.
Before you register:
ISACA certificate exams are computer-based and administered as remotely proctored exams. Registration for the IT Risk Fundamentals exam is continuous, meaning candidates can register any time, no restrictions. Candidates can schedule a testing appointment as early as 48 hours after payment of exam registration fees.
Please note, exam appointments are only available 90 days in advance. If you do not see your exam site or date available more than 90 days in advance, please check back when it is closer to your desired exam date. If you still do not see your desired exam site or date available, please verify that your exam eligibility has not expired by logging into your ISACA Account, and clicking the Certification & CPE Management tab.
Rescheduling an exam
You can reschedule your IT Risk Fundamentals exam anytime, without penalty, during your eligibility period if done a minimum of 48 hours prior to your scheduled testing appointment. To reschedule an appointment: Log in to your ISACA Account and follow the rescheduling steps in the Scheduling Guide.
How to access your certificate
With a score of 65% or higher you will be notified of your achievement (congrats!). Then log in to your MyISACA certificate page.
