How do I become CET certified?
Earning the CET certification requires no additional work experience—you just must pass each of the four certificate exams, then submit a completed application form and processing fee. Once certified, CET certification-holders maintain the certification by earning and reporting CPE credit hours annually and paying an annual maintenance fee.

The remote 2-hour exam blends both knowledge and performance-based questions set in a virtual lab. There are no prerequisites.
You’ve prepared by doing the work and taking four exams and are now ready to apply for your CET Certification. Let’s make sure you have everything you need:
STEP 1: PASS THE EXAMS
Prior to submitting your application, you must meet the following requirements:
- Successfully complete all four (4) CET Certificate Exams
- Adhere to ISACA’s Code of Professional Ethics
- Adhere to the CPE Policy
STEP 2: FILL OUT APPLICATION
Download the CET application and fill in your details:
- Download and fill out the PDF application
- Once you are certified you will need to keep training and keep your CET current
STEP 3: PAY & SUBMIT
Pay the one-time US$25 application processing fee before you submit:
- Finalize your payment to submit your completed application.
